I’m Magan Rogers, based in Ferndale, Michigan — about an hour from downtown Lansing. I regularly photograph women from Lansing, East Lansing, Mason, Okemos, Holt, DeWitt, St. Johns, and all of mid-Michigan who are ready for a boudoir experience that actually delivers.
What the Drive Gets You
My studio at 800 Hilton Rd is private from the moment you arrive. One client, one experience, one photographer; me, the whole time.
You arrive and I handle your hair and makeup personally. I’m a licensed stylist so this isn’t an afterthought or an add-on; it’s the beginning of the experience. We ease into the morning together, talk through what you want, and get you camera-ready before we ever pick up a lens.
Then I guide every pose. Where to put your hands, how to angle your body, what to do with your expression; nothing is left for you to figure out. I’ve photographed enough women to know that the posing is everything. Done right it doesn’t feel like posing at all.
At the end of your session we do a private image reveal together. You’ll see your photos while you’re still in the energy of the day, still feeling like yourself. Most women from Lansing say that moment alone was worth the drive.
The Lansing to Ferndale Drive
It’s about an hour on I-96 East on a normal day; straightforward highway, easy parking when you arrive. Most mid-Michigan clients make a full day of it. They drive down in the morning, spend three to four hours in the studio, and head back in the afternoon with images they’ll have for the rest of their lives.
Some grab lunch or dinner in Ferndale or Royal Oak before heading home. The drive back tends to feel a lot different than the drive there.

The Investment
The session fee is $750 which comes off your total collection. Most clients invest between $3,200 and $6,000 depending on the artwork, albums, and images they choose. Payment plans are available through Affirm, Klarna, and an in-house 0% interest option.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it worth driving from Lansing for a boudoir session? Every client who has made the drive says yes. The experience at my Ferndale studio; hair and makeup by a licensed stylist, private space, fully guided posing, same-day reveal; isn’t available at this level closer to Lansing right now. The hour becomes the smallest part of the day.
How long will I be at the studio? Plan for three to four hours from the time you arrive for hair and makeup through your image reveal. We never rush.
Is hair and makeup really included? Yes with every session. I’m a licensed stylist so I handle everything personally. You arrive with a fresh face and clean dry hair and I take it from there. It’s one of the things mid-Michigan clients are most surprised by; not just that it’s included, but that it’s me the whole time.
Do I need to book far in advance? Most clients book 6 to 8 weeks out. If you have a specific date in mind, reach out as early as you can to lock it in.
