Boudoir? What’s it mean?
1. What is boudoir photography?
Boudoir photography is an intimate and empowering experience that captures you in a sexy, artistic way. It’s about celebrating who you are—exactly as you are. There are NO rules here.
2. Who is boudoir photography for?
Boudoir is for everyone—regardless of age, shape, or size. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, a personal transformation, or just want to feel amazing, this is your moment.
3. Where is your studio located?
My private studio is located at 800 Hilton Rd, just off Woodward in Ferndale, Michigan. It’s a cozy, safe space designed with your comfort in mind. On-site parking and is wheelchair accessible!
Preparing for Your Boudoir Session
4. What should I wear to my boudoir session?
Anything that makes you feel confident! Think lingerie, bodysuits, oversized sweaters, or even your partner’s favorite shirt. If you’re unsure, I’ll guide you through outfit selection.
5. What about my hair and makeup?
Professional hair and makeup are included with your session.
6. How should I prepare for my session?
- Stay hydrated and get a good night’s sleep before your shoot.
- Avoid tight clothing – bras, underwear, and tight socks that leaves marks on your skin. And definitely take that hair tie off your wrist. 😉
- Bring multiple outfit options, and don’t forget accessories like jewelry or shoes.
- Start stretching daily, focusing on cat/cow yoga poses and overall body stretching. This is so helpful on the day of the shoot because it is a bit of a workout!

What to Expect During the Shoot
7. I’m nervous! Is that normal?
Totally! Most all of my people feel a bit nervous at first! But I promise, those nerves will melt away as we start. I’ll guide you through every pose and keep things fun and relaxed while listening to your favorite music.
8. Will my photos be private?
Absolutely. Your privacy is my top priority. I will only share photos with your explicit permission.
9. How long does a session last?
Sessions typically last 3-4 hours, including hair, makeup, and the shoot itself.
Products and Deliverables
10. What products do you offer?
I offer a range of luxury products, including:
- Custom-designed photo albums
- Wall art and prints
- Digital images for personal use
11. When will I receive my photos?
Your images will be ready to view within 72 Hours after your session. I will send you an entire proof gallery to view, and select your final favorites from!
12. Can I order additional products later?
Yes! Your images will be archived, so you can always come back to order additional items.
Booking and Policies
13. How do I book a session?

14. What is your cancellation policy?
A $500 retainer fee is required to secure your date. Rescheduling is possible with notice, but cancellations will forfeit the retainer.
15. Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! I want everyone to have access to this experience. You can view my full Pricing and Prep guide here which details all the options. I have Klarna and Affirm as new options for payment, and interest free in- house payment plans with the ability to set up auto-pay!
